We, at Christian Fusion Business Solutions (CFBS) acknowledge and respect your right to privacy and the confidentiality of your Personal Information.  As we collect, use, store, disclose, and dispose the information you provide to us, we are committed to be faithful stewards of this information by handling it in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and our CFBS Privacy Policy as stated hereunder.

 

It is within our Privacy Policy to take all necessary steps to ensure that personal information you provide is processed securely and lawfully.

 

Only authorized personnel and third-party providers obliged to respect its confidentiality has access to all collected personal information. We neither sell, trade, or market any personal information supplied by you to any third party.

 

It is within our Policy to regularly monitor our internal procedures to ensure compliance with the relevant statutory requirements, including the general policies and procedures of Republic Act No. 10173 or the Data Privacy Act of 2012 of the Philippines (the “Data Privacy Act”), relevant orders issued by the National Privacy Commission, and other applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

 

This Privacy Policy covers CFBS and its affiliates.

The Types of Information we collect

In participating & availing of any CFBS events, activities, products & services offerings, it may be necessary for us, in pursuit of our legitimate interest as an organization and as an organizer of events, to collect personal information from you. Such personal information may include, but are not limited to the following:

 

1. Your name

2. Phone number and email address

3. Residential address

4. Birthday &/or Age

5. Gender

6. Valid identifications

7. Health or diet related concerns

8. Your religious beliefs/ convictions

9. Prayer requests

10. Personal testimonies

11. Personal feedback &/or evaluations

12. Photos &/or videos of you captured during CFBS events/ activities for online streaming purposes, documentation, audio-visual presentations, and CFBS events/activities, products & services promotions.

Why we collect Personal Information from you

Whether as a regular CFBS client or customer, a volunteer, or someone who is new to CFBS, it is our hope that you would be able to know, experience, and grow successfully in life and in business. It is our desire to provide a conducive atmosphere for all to succeed quicker and to meet the needs of our clients, customers, members, & participants across the different seasons or circumstances in life &/or in business they are in.  Our ability to meet those needs highly depends on understanding our clients, customers, members, & participants, hence the necessity for us to collect personal information that would allow us to know them better.

 

While your consent may be solicited to process your personal data, we may also process personal data without your consent, such as when processing is allowed under Section 12 or Section 13 of the DPA.

 

To enable us to remain in contact and build relationship with you, it is important that CFBS collects, uses, processes and retains your personal information when it is reasonable and necessary.

 

In particular, we are using your information to:

 

1. Properly address the inquiries and requests;

2. Forward your inquiries and requests to appropriate internal committee or authorized personnel for action and response;

3. To provide notice and update with current CFBS's events, activities, products & services offerings;

4. Perform such other processing or disclosure that may be required under law or regulations.

 

Furthermore, we collect personal information from you for us to be able:

 

  1. To communicate with you, lead you, and provide you with CFBS events, activities, products & services;

  2. To serve you and your businesses by providing value adding events, activities, products & services;

  3. To review and improve our events, activities, products & services, including our websites, social networks, lectures, trainings, seminars, webinars, classes and communication materials;

  4. To contact you for any CFBS events, activities, products & services offerings;

  5. To use as material &/or content for online streaming purposes, documentation, audio-visual presentations, and CFBS events, activities, products & services promotions.

How we collect Personal Information from you

We collect your Personal Information by the voluntarily submission of the same to us through the following channels:

 

  1. The CFBS website;

  2. Social media sites;

  3. Forms including on-line registration forms, application forms, evaluation forms;

  4. Photography &/or videography; and

  5. Other channels we use to serve you, such as:

  • Support groups, Facebook Messenger, Viber, Whatsapp, phone call, or electronic mail;

  • Registration &/or availment of our events, activities, products & services;

  • Registration &/or availment of our lectures, trainings, seminars, webinars &/or classes.

How we use your Personal Information

We guarantee that the information you have voluntarily provided will be used solely for the foregoing purposes for which it was collected, will be kept confidential in accordance with applicable laws and will not be disclosed without your consent, except for lawful reasons as provided under applicable laws. Any communications deemed privileged in nature shall be handled in accordance with the pertinent laws and judicial rules.

Who we share your Personal Information with

As a general rule, personal data processed by the CFBS is not shared with any other party unless such disclosure is allowed under Section 12 or 13 of the DPA or other applicable laws, rules & regulations.

 

You authorize CFBS to disclose your information to accredited &/or affiliated third parties or independent &/or non-affiliated third parties, whether local or foreign in the following circumstances:

 

1. As necessary for the proper execution of processes related to the declared purposes;

2. The use or disclosure is reasonably necessary, required or authorized by or under law;

3. This means we might provide information to the following: Our partner companies, organizations, or agencies including their sub-contractors or prospective business partners that act as our service providers and contractors;

4. Law enforcement and government agencies;

5. All third parties with which we share this information are required to use your personal information in a manner that is consistent with this policy.

How we protect your Personal Information

Reasonable steps have been set up to ensure the security of personal and sensitive information we obtain including the installation of organizational, physical, and technological safeguards for as long as they remain in our digital storage until such time they are no longer needed, but not exceeding ten (10) years from the date that said information is obtained. Additional steps will be taken to destroy or de-identify personal information that is no longer required.

 

However, we disclaim any responsibility for any breach to the systems of service providers which run our system or host our cloud database caused by a systemic cybersecurity attack against such providers without the fault or negligence of CFBS &/or our employees. In an event of such breach occur, we will inform you of any consequent compromise to your personal information within seventy-two (72) hours from the receipt of an official breach notification of our service provider.

 

We also store files containing personal information in our computers &/or servers, which are kept in a secure environment. We may also store your personal information with cloud-based third-party data storage providers. We shall ensure that proper measures are adopted to protect your information.

 

Your personal information will be kept for a period of ten (10) years from the submission of your inquiries and requests, unless you request your data to be deleted in our database and hard copies immediately. Once deleted, the data will be completely removed from all the storage location.

 

Other categories of data may be kept longer than ten (10) years when its retention period is determined by other relevant laws and regulations.

 

Physical records shall be disposed of through shredding, while digital files may be anonymized. In all instances, our manner of disposal shall ensure that the personal information shall no longer be retrieved, processed, or accessed by unauthorized persons.

 

Risk refers to the potential of an incident to result in harm or danger to a data subject or organization. Risks may lead to the unauthorized collection, use, disclosure, or access to personal data. It includes risks involving the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of personal data or the risk that processing will violate the general data privacy principles and the rights of data subjects.

 

CFBS ensures that adequate physical, technical, and organizational security measures are in place to protect personal information's confidentiality, integrity, and availability. However, this does not guarantee absolute protection against certain risks involving the processing of personal data, such as when systems are exposed to targeted cyberattacks, malware, ransomware, and computer viruses or when manual records are accessed without authority.

 

We restrict access to your information only to qualified and authorized personnel who hold your information with strict confidentiality.

 

Any personal information that you provide is processed and stored by CFBS &/or CFBS service providers.  Using a secured connection, authorized CFBS personnel can then access &/or download your personal information.

Anonymity

​We acknowledge and respect your right to be dealt with anonymously, and we will try to accommodate your request for anonymity wherever possible, lawful, and practicable. Please do note that in some circumstances, this may prevent us from effectively communicating with you.

Updating your Personal Information

Any changes on the Personal Information provided will only be made upon the receipt of the updates therein by CFBS and/or upon the request thereof by the primary data subject.  Authorized personnel and third-party providers who have previously received such processed personal information shall be informed of its updates and of its rectification upon reasonable request by the primary data subject.

Changes to the Privacy Notice

CFBS reserves the right to update or revise this privacy policy notice at any time and will provide a new privacy notice whenever there are substantial changes.  Prior versions of the privacy notice shall be retained and shall be provided to data subjects upon request.
